Schwarz und blau. Sooo lange hab ich es einfach nicht gemocht, mit der Ausnhame von dunklen Jeans mit nem schwarzen T-shirt. Mittlerweile finde ich es eine der edelsten Kombinationen, weil es einfach sehr dunkel und minimal ist. Der schwarze Mantel mit ledernen Details, über eine dunkelblaue Baracuda Jacke, dann ein grau blauer Cardigan und ein weiss-blaues shirt, aber wieder eine schwarze grestrickte Krawatte und schwarze Uhr. Ihr merkt schon, dass das Spiel von schwarz und blau sehr offensichtlich ist.

Von Mustern her spielt sich viel zwischen Hemd, Hose und Socken ab, mit vielen 4-Ecken. Der Kontrast von der texturierten Krawatte  und des Cardigans, zu den ebenen, sehr klaren Linien von beiden Jacken ist ebenfalls gewollt. Am meisten Spass hat hier sicher das Übereinanderschichten gemacht!

Black and blue. For the longest time I really was just not into it. With the exception of blue jeans and a black T and sneakers, maybe. By now, I’ve come to the belief that it is one of the most sophisticated combos, since black and navy both are such dark and strong colors, and only minimally differ in appearance. We see it here, with the black trench over a navy Baracuda jacket, then a grey and blue cardigan and some blue in the shirt; but the knit tie and leather-strap of the watch are black again. The play of the two colors should be quite obvious.

As so often it’s a game of patterns and textures – the check in the shirt mimics the window pane of the pants and relates to the argyle of the socks. Texturally speaking, we have the gorgeous knit tie and the cable knit cardigan as two of the busier textures (not patterns) and they stand in contrast to the super clean lines of the Baracude, but also the more minimal black trench. This look lives off of layering – one of my favorite “hobbies”. Do it basically every morning 😉
