Aw maaaan — how dope are these sneakers? It’s been a while since I had some more elaborate high-top sneakers, but these are just too good. Starting off with the colors, I think Creative Recreation nailed it with the combo of navy, grey and white. Certainly the translucent cup sole is a big factor in making this shoe look amazing. Personally, I love the riffle detail, and the zippers are just genius. I never tied my sneakers in the first place, but these definitely make it easier to just unzip, slip-in, and zip them right back up. The rest of the look was very much inspired by the color palette of the sneakers, and that’s how I ran around all day long, into the night 🙂 The shoes are super-comfy, so that made it easy — the soles actually mold to your feet over time — but also I didn’t really fell out of place in sneakers and a more street look, even at fashion events that night. I think this can be accredited to the high-end feel of the look: the details and materials of the sneakers are top-notch, and I’m wearing them with designer pieces. The lesson here being: sometimes you don’t need to suit up, but quality clothing that’s comfy can make you look just as good!
