The Fisherman

Fall is here and it’s all about knits and layering. At least for me. Today, we’re taking a closer look at this fit I ordered at Nordstrom, our sponsor for the post. I had started out falling in love with the 1901 Fisherman’s Sweater: loosely knit, in a washed out black color, I chose to order a size large to get a little bit of an oversized fit. That, in turn, worked really well with the gray ripped jeans from Topman. I really like this fit, the stretch skinny; I find fits with Topman can be a bit tricky, but this one fit like a glove.

Next up I finally pulled the trigger on the Comme Des Garçons PLAY x Converse high-tops in white. Solid purchase I think. And last but not least, the 1901 reversible fleece vest in navy. At first I thought it might not work in terms of color, but the washed out black of the sweater almost has a blue undertone, so it ended up looking great together. Fleece on the inside equals warmth, on the outside it makes the look more extra. I finished it off with a corduroy Fisherman’s Hat (yes, I am indeed ready to go fishing) and a Prada backpack. And then we found this car, and the rest is history …
