Turtle On The Loose

I’M WEARING: Sweater (Slate & Stone) / Shirt (Slate & Stone) / Jeans (Simon Miller) / Derbies (Hydrogen-1) / Watch (Coach) / Backpack (Coach)

Today we have a relaxed, color-coordinated outfit perfect for a casual Friday. I got a few amazing new things from Slate & Stone, which you will see spread out over a few blog posts these coming days. The first two pieces are the maroon wool shirt, under the loose turtle neck sweater. I thought the colors went together perfectly, and the mix of fabrics was very nice as well, dressy in a sense, but dressed down through details like the relaxed neckline and the texture of the tops. I went with the dressed-down vibe and wore my Simon Miller jeans, and then replicated the color combo of sweater and shirt in socks and shoes. I accentuated with a more saturated brown, a cognac leather for the backpack and the watch.
