I’M WEARING: Vest (Indochino) / Shirt (Kent & Curwen) / Pants (Asos) / Pocket Square (L.B.M. 1911) / Watch (Coach) / Bracelet (Ebb & Flow) / Oxfords (Hydrogen-1) / Shades (Ray Ban)

Die Weste ist auf jeden Fall was Besonderes. Passiert nicht jeden Tag, dass man eine zwei-reihige Weste sieht, mit Revers und durchgehend aus Baumwolle — also kein Polyester oder Azetat, sondern auch am Rücken der gleiche Stoff wie vorne. Das Ding sieht an sich sehr traditionell aus und gehört normalerweise zu einem Drei-Teiler, aber ich wollte es eher casual tragen, also habe ich den Rest vom Anzug weggelassen, das Hemd aufgeknöpft und auch die Krawatte im Schrank hängen lassen. Dafür habe ich dann ein Einstecktuch in die Weste, Farblich abgestimmt zu Hose und Schuhen und mit ein Paar Accessoires verfeinert. Was haltet ihr davon? 🙂

This vest is definitely a special piece. You don’t see double-breasted vests every day these days, especially not with a peak lapel collar and the cotton-fabric all around — instead of the polyester or acetate fabric you’d usually have in the back, it’s cotton like in the front. The piece itself is very traditional and usually part of a three-piece suit, but I wanted to wear it causally, so I left the rest of the suit at home, along with the tie and unbuttoned the shirt a little bit. I put a pocket square in the vest, matching the color of both pants and shoes and refined it with a few accessories. How do you guys feel about this? 🙂
