I’M WEARING: Blazer (c/o Ted Baker) / Waistcoat (c/o Ted Baker) / Shirt (c/o Hugh & Crye) / Pants (c/o Gant) / Tie (c/o Van Heusen) / Watch (c/o CT Scuderia) / Monks (c/o Andrew Marc) / Pocket Square (c/o L.B.M. 1911)

Going in a very modern-dandy-ish kind of direction today, with the light pink vest (, which you are going to see more of, than you’d like this season) and the purple gingham shirt, whose color match the lines in the blazer perfectly. Accentuation in black, and darker grey jeans, once again to take the color combination of the blazer apart. The funny thing about that it, that I didn’t look at the blazer and chose the pieces accordingly, it just seemed to match, and later on I also noticed why, haha.

    Lisa has a great eye…
Really digging the compositions here (but especially the first shot)! The near symmetry combined with the horizontal and vertical lines present in your surroundings (the building’s louvers, the mullions of its windows, the edges and perpendicular expansion joints of the sidewalk/pavement) seem a somewhat subtle (and maybe super abstract) nod to the criss-crossing lines of the plaid blazer and perhaps even the gingham shirt. Also the gray and brownish hues of the building/pavement nicely mirror those same hues in this look (which I shouldn’t neglect to say is also DOPE).
