Thanks to the gentlemen over at Strong Suit, I am sporting a new suit separates combination today: a rather loud, patterned blazer, toned down with a pair of navy pants, a basic pique polo and glossed cap-toe derby shoes. I’m focusing on the “sport” part of the “sport coat,” not going with the dress-shirt and tie underneath but rather with a legère polo shirt that easily works with the blazer on or off and creates an air of casual athleticism.

I really like this outfit, a lot! I like a loud blazer toned down like this is just right – and I love how you’ve worn a polo to tone the smartness down even more. Your hair is awesome too, it adds an extra air of ‘I’m respectful and have made an effort but this is still pretty casual’. Looks great!
