Der erste Tag meines Praktikums bei J.Lindeberg erforderte selbstverständlich, dass ich auch irgendetwas von der Marke anzieh – unglücklicherweise, sind beide meine Blazer eher für die Übergangsjahrzeiten gedacht, welche hier in NYC nicht mehr vorhanden sind. Hätte ich also einen der Beiden angezogen, hätte ich sicher einen Hitzeschlag erlitten. Deshalb habe ich mich dann doch für ein Hemd entschieden und es mit meinem Shipley & Halmos Blazer angezogen. Kombiniert mit der grauen Chino-Hose, haben dann auch die Schuhe optimal gepasst und die Entscheidung über die Krawatte fiel dann schon ganz von alleine. Dann brauchte ich nur noch einen Gürtel: Blau gab’s nicht, Braun wollte ich nicht, Schwarz per Ausschlussverfahren. Ein schwarzes Element allein war mir zu wenig und so kamen die Sonnenbrille und die Tasche ins Spiel.

For my first day interning at J.Lindeberg, I of course had to wear something from the brand – unfortunately all the blazers I had are more transitional, and since we kind of just jumped from winter to summer here in NYC, wearing either of them would have resulted in me getting a heat stroke. So, I wore my honeycomb shirt, with the flower printed Shipley & Halmos jacket on top, and combined it with grey chinos. It just so happened that the loafers now matched perfectly, with a grey tassel and the navy suede, and I chose my tie accordingly. I needed a belt, didn’t have a navy one and didn’t want to do brown, so I went black; just one black element would’ve been to isolated for me, therefore black shades and bag to create a balance.
