in the green

I’M WEARING: Shirt (Armani Exchange) / Jeans (Asos) / Monks (Hydrogen-1) / Watch (Triwa) / Shades (Ray Ban)

Natur pur und einfach schön – die Heimatstadt, so wie ganz Deutschland, hat einfach doch im Durchschnitt bisschen mehr grün anzubieten wie so der eine oder andere Stadtteil in New York und darüber beschwer’ ich mich sicherlich nicht. Grade bei mir um die Ecke ist ein schöner Zick-Zack Weg durch die Bäume, mit Sonnenstrahlen die durch das Dickicht der Blätter gerade so durch dringen, optimales Set.

Das Outfit selbst ist irgendwie schon arg “Stuttgart”, sehr simplistisch und gemütlich. Natürlich rennen die Leute heir auch so rum wie sie wollen, aber so ein richtiger Stuttgarter, der hier auch noch, würde sowas schon recht leicht anziehen. Ich denk das ist bei mir dann auch sofort ne unterbewusste Anpassung, haha. Das Hemd mit den farbigen Fäden ist immernoch stark beliebt und hier hatte ich auch Lisa’s braune Triwa ausgeliehen. Zum Einen, weil ihre besser zu den Schuhen gepasst hat, zum Anderen, weil mir meine runter geflogen ist und das Glas jetzt kaputt ist …. *heul*

Green and beautiful – my hometown, much like Germany in general, is definitely a lot more green than your average New York neighborhood – and I can’t say that I hate it. Just around the corner from where I live is this little pathway leading up the hill, criss-crossing through trees and green, with sunlight breaking through the crowns of the trees. Perfect. Location.

The outfit itself is somewhat indicative of what Stuttgart-style is all about: fairly simply, and relaxed. Of course you have all sorts of styles here, but you would definitely see a Stuttgarter (who still lives here) wearing something like this. It’s called adaption on my behalf, haha. The speckled shirt still calls for great attention with a lot of people, and here I borrowed Lisa’s Triwa for a shoot to match my double-monks, primarily because I dropped, and consequently broke my own brown one …. *cryface*
