I’M WEARING: Custom Suit (Saks Fifth Avenue) / Custom Shirt (Saks Fifth Avenue) / Tie & Tie Bar (The Tie Bar) / Watch (Triwa) / Loafers (Johnston & Murphy) / Bracelet (Ebb & Flow) / Bag (Tumi) / Pocket Square (Marwood London)

Shot on the Highline, wearing a Saks Fifth Avenue custom suit and shirt — definitely a wonderful start to kick off fashion week. The ultimate highlight of the look, I hope you agree, is the beautiful blazer. Saks offers tons of fabrications to choose from, for jackets, pants and shirts alike, and I went for a super-soft cashmere mix, if I remember correctly. I went with a double breasted version of this blue check fabric, a 6-button with a peak lapel, and wore it over a beautifully tailored, light blue linen shirt. For the longest time, I’ve needed a pair of nice ivory pants in my closet, and with this suit, I decided to get them. I accessorized with a dark blue knit tie, suede loafers, watch and bracelet, matched the pants with the ivory lace pocket square, and grabbed a dark grey Tumi bag, not to be toooooo matchy-matchy. What do you guys think? Would you have made different choices at SFA regarding the suit? If you are looking for a custom suit and are not yet familiar with the SFA line at Saks, I would absolutely recommend you give it a shot and say hello to my buddy Derek on the 6th floor on 5th Avenue 😉
