Creamy Delight

Keeping it neutral and adding in a few colors was the idea behind this look. I love the very bright combination of different shades of cream or beige, all the way to a brown or cognac. Here we have a relatively monochromatic color scheme: the beige, modern Uniqlo trench coat, over the cream knit sweater are the main creators of that scheme. To add a little casualty to the look I wore a longer Tee underneath the sweater, which is a slightly different cream and dresses down the look. Lighter brown socks in my cognac colored wingtips complete the brown-ish collection of colors, in coordination with the leather detail of the bag. The only “fall-out”, if you will, within the outfit are the jeans, especially the inside turned out at the ankles. I liked the contrast of neutrals and a pop and thought the bag was a smart choice to combine it with, since the green isn’t very “in you face” and, once again, just goes with the look overall.

Neutrals in general will be bigger this season and in fall, as the trend of intense color is slowly retreating.
