This time it’s all about the vest.
Vests – classic and have been around somewhat forever. I recently did an OOTD integrating it, but weather like it is in NYC makes a down vest the perfect choice. Not too warm, not too cold, enables layering and therefore adds to your styling opportunities. Mint green, as I’ve seen it, is one if the major colors for the season and here’s how I wore it.
Since the Uniqlo vest itself makes quite a string statement, I decided to keep everything else more subtle and summery. The plaid shirt is from Club Monaco, sleeves are rolled up and it is unbuttoned at the top, making for a very casual and warm weather look. H&M jeans, denim blue, rolled up to the ankles – relaxed and simple. The boat shoes are from n.d.c. – I don’t actually know how international the brand is, but I got the shoes in Germany. As for accessories: bracelets by H&M, feather necklace borrowed from my best friend, sunglasses by John Varvatos, all adding on to a more summery feel. The backpack, as seen previously, is by Surface to Air.
Look out for down vests, vests of any kind, and maybe even in mint green. I’m pretty sure you’ll see some around.
