A men’s shirt is about perfection. To fit a shirt perfectly but still allow for enough mobility is an art. This shirt by Spadari does exactly that. How do you know when a shirt fits exactly right? Key things to check are the following: collar, shoulder line, sleeve length and general body circumference. You should be able to fit 1-2 fingers in your collar when completely buttoned. That way it will close the neck hole without uncomfortably rubbing on your neck. The shoulder line should lie on top of the outside if your shoulder line to emphasize the delts and fall correctly. The sleeve should cover your wrist plus about 1cm (sorry, European) when your arms are completely straight. The extra centimeter should be visible when you wear a blazer on top also. And the general circumference is a question of subjectivity: I like them slim, so when I pull the shirt on the sides, I have about 5-7 cm of a distance between seam and body.

Next time you try a shirt on, try and remember that and be your own judge whether it looks better. (Hint: it should.)

So here I’m wearing this blue and white striped shirt with my olive, shrunk blazer on top. Slim fitting chino pants in a greyish, blue color, to play off of the blue in the shirt. Pants are in sync with the brown of the watch, and I like combining cognac with olive. I just got the bracelet from Tevin a week or two ago, and the obsession is still going in. I think a simple bracelet like this one just adds a hint of awesomeness to every outfit. Pocket square in the pocket and you’re good to go.
