Ready for A Change

It’s March already, but winter doesn’t seem to be ending anytime soon. Living in New York is one of the best things I ever chose to do, but I could not be more ready for spring than I am in this very moment, especially wearing a few beautiful pieces from Barbour’s new spring collection, our sponsor for today’s post.

When I think Barbour, I think quilted jackets, and vice versa, but the brand also has great threads for the warmer months like you can see in the top halves of the two looks today. Let’s start with the black and blue combination: a pair of navy boots with black detailing, black slim chinos atop and a black woven belt where I tucked in what might be my favorite spring, the Brothwell Shirt from their Steel Tartan collection. The perfect combination of blue tones, against neutral whites and grey is just beautiful to me. I rounded the look out with a hooded parka, the Noden Jacket, to create a nice relaxed yet elevated feel, which is so intrinsic to their clothing

The second look is leaning farther into the spring, at least when it comes to colors, with light washed jeans, a pair of tan suede boots and a combination of the navy Endsleigh button-down with the earth-toned Maree Casual jacket. While this look is simpler in pattern, the details matter here, like the corduroy insides of the collar and the patch pockets.

Over all, I’m more than ready for a casually dapper spring with these looks, so I hope you enjoyed today’s post and get yourself ready for spring as well!
