Das Dhara Dhevi Hotel ist wie eine Stadt konzipiert: es gibt einen großen Platz, als Hauptversammlungsort, ein Rathaus, das als Bankett dient, einen Riesen Palast, der als Rezeption fungiert, und unter Anderem auch ein Theater, die heutige Location für den Outfit Shoot. Das faszinierende daran ist, dass das Hotel weniger als 10 Jahre alt ist! Die Optik ist künstlich erstellt und unglaublich gut gemacht, so dass man sich vorkommt als ob man tatsächlich in einem alten Dorf in Chiang Mai seinen idyllischen Urlaub verbringen würde. Das ist ihnen auch optimal gelungen, findet ihr nicht?! Meine Outfits dort sind recht leicht, bei solchen Temperaturen kommt es sehr auf den optimalen Stoff an und generell is weniger davon auch besser. Hier also eine schlichte Rot-Grau-Kombination, mit dunklen Schuhen, bei der das T-Shirt aus einem leichten Stoff gemacht ist und sehr locker fällt, also Raum zu entlüften lässt 🙂

The Dhara Dhevi Hotel is set up like a village: there’s a main plaza, where people gather for announcements and the like; a city hall, which is mostly used for banquets; a gigantic palace, which functions as the Hotel’s reception; and among other things, a theater, which is today’s location for our outfit shoot. The fascinating thing about all this, is that the Dhara Dhevi Hotel is less than 10 years old, but put in a lot of effort to make it look like an authentic, traditional village in Chiang Mai. Mission accomplished, right?! My outfits in Chiang Mai are rather light, since in temperatures like these, it really comes down to the perfect fabric and generally: the less, the better. Here a straight-forward gray-and-red-combination with some dark suede brogues, where the t-shirt is made from a gorgeous lightweight fabric, which fits very loosely and thus leaves rooms to breath 🙂
