Struck by the warm sunlight in the freezing cold. NYC hasn’t made it easy on any of the people that live in it these last couple of days. Here’s my fashionable counter: even though a lot of people believe in the “onion-technique”, just layering upon layering, you often lose shape and it doesn’t really look on point. Here, I’m wearing a super-warm wool sweater, together with wool pants and a quilted jacket. Even though they might be a little more expensive than the cotton-alternatives, or a not quilted jacket, both the fabric and the quilting actually help with retaining warm, so invest! It’s worth it.
