The Matrix

I don’t think the title needs any further explanation. I got this mind-blowing piece at a sample sale in SoHo a couple of months ago and I finally got around to wearing it. It is definitely a special piece, and if you ever plan on having or buying anything like it, here’s how you might want to wear it: black skinny jeans, funky but subtle socks and monk straps for the bottom half. I went with a grey plaid blazer on top, but a simple solid blazer could’ve sufficed, on top of a simple black tee. A cool watch that integrates the color of the coat and the jeans, and a pocket square that works with the shoes. And yes – I did get some funny looks from random people walking down the street.
