I’m all about a smart watch. I’ve tried more than one and I definitely can appreciate staying updated by a simple look at the wrist. Vector sent me a watch to test out during Fashion Week, before it launches in October here in the US, and here’s why Vector is a dope way to go: firstly, the design is bomb. Let’s be honest, we all love watches, there’s no need to mess with the basic design conception of the timepieces, so I love the round case. Secondly, the battery life is insane: you can go 30 days with one charge, which means this watch can be on you 24/7 for an entire month, whereas others need to be charged as often as daily. Vector allows you to customize the face and your updates, so you have dozens of options for the face design, and can get notifications about anything from your calendar appointments, to news and Instagram notifications — completely customizable, so you only see what you need. Depending on the face you choose to go with, you can see blocked out times of the day and get a constant reminder of when something is happening next, just by checking the time. I ran around with the watch during NYFW – rushing from one show to the next. I was keeping up with emails, while hailing cabs and just out and about. A smart watch always comes in the most handy when you’re on the go, limited on time, and need to stay connected, and that applies to Fashion Week over everything else. In the end, Vector allowed me to do exactly that, and on top of it all, it went fantastically with the outfit 😉
