Here it is. The moment I’ve been waiting for all my life. Or at least since I started my blog: my first partnership with MR PORTER. Let’s start with an essential, the perfect khaki shorts. These guys are from Ami, nice and slim, but still loose enough for air to flow and keep you cool. The length is on point, so you can either rock them rolled up, or as they come. I added a T-shirt to the look, something casual, but still classy with the burnt orange cardigan on top. A lot of the highlights are happening with the accessories. “Birks” are still my favorite for the summer, and you can get those on MR PORTER too now, soooo — sorry haters, you’re gonna have to live with them. The bracelet adds a nice touch of luxury, but it’s really all about the shades and backpack here. The vintage Oliver Peoples shades are a freaking masterpieces in isolation, but especially in combination with the leather bike-backpack from Brooks. Simple and to the point, the bag is luxuriously crafted and well-thought out, through and through. All in all, you got yourself a wonderful look for the Hamptons.. which brings me to the next point.
