Going away for a weekend? Leaving the city to clear the head, get a tan and/or just to reconnect with nature a bit? Trust me, I feel you on all three points. So I partnered up with Topman to create a little guide for you guys 😉 But before I delve into the details of the looks, I hope you are in the city (New York City that is) and free on Tuesday, 6-8pm. The trip starts in the city, it’s Friday, you’re feeling casual but you still want that dapper look.. solution: jogger pants with your suit, and a simple, light-weight, short-sleeve sweater to replace the restricting dress shirt. Your feet will also thank you for wearing sneakers, and the pony hair detailing is going to have people talking for sure. So nothing’s in the way of your weekend vibes, and you head out of the city.

On Saturday, you’re in the mood for hiking, or just taking a stroll through the wilderness. I like looking as fly as possible no matter where I am — for all I know, I might run into a someone famous, and I want them to be thinking “Wow dude. That look though.” So I went with a tonal, safari inspired combo for the countryside look: camel safari shirt, one hell of a camel cotton biker jacket (please take a minute to appreciate the fit on that), a long-lined layer underneath and fairly baggy shorts. Same sneakers as above for two reasons: packing light, and, well, they just work with the look 😉

Lastly, and I’m really pumped for this look, is the beach attire. DUNGAREES! Yes!!! I waited so long for a great jumper, and this season my patience is being rewarded with this white denim awesomeness. I wore it with a casual printed shirt, a straw hat, and matching sandals and weekender bag. After all you need some space to bring all of this with you, right?
