What a show it was. H&M is obviously one of the most well-known fashion brands in the world, but they are also really breaking into the high-end fashion industry with their H&M Studio collection. I was lucky enough to be invited to the SS18 show in Paris, and to partner with H&M to show you guys some of my favorite pieces in one look in today’s blogpost.
One of the first things that stood out to me when I got a peek at the collection was this beautiful navy overcoat. Navy, as you hopefully know by now is my absolute go to, and the blue and white window pane pattern makes it an incredible statement piece. Underneath I wore an oversized short-sleeve button-down in a desaturated yellow color, and then a navy t-shirt with contrast stitching underneath to tie the navy back in.
I chose to go and break a suit of the collection apart and just use the trousers for the look in tan and light blue, basically lighter variations of the yellow and navy of the top half of the look. I finished of the look with navy shades and navy suede Chelsea sneakers, which are the perfect choice to reflect the dressed-up-and-down vibe of the outfit.
The entire collection is much more high-fashion focused in terms of design and quality, and I’d absolutely recommend you check it out online or in-stores, as it’s been available since March 1st — no harm in taking a look, amirite?! 😉

Giving away our fishing waters is just what our Tory government likes doing. Problem is we don”t have much of a navy to protect the boundaries any more. Most of our fleet is alongside with major breakdowns. This is what TM means by not getting all we want. Our fishing rights appear to be a sacrificial pawn to lure the EU into a deal. TM needs to consider that the EU does not have an Army or a navy, the only way they enforce their rules is by fines. We should take all our waters back and get our navy back to sea ASAP.
